How much does AC repair cost?
Common repairs such as a capacitor, contactor, ignitor or thermostat typically run $150 to $450 installed. Larger jobs such as a blower motor, evaporator coil or compressor cost more. You always receive a written flat-rate price before work begins.

Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?
If the system is under 10 years old and the repair costs less than about 30 percent of replacement, repair usually wins. If it still uses R-22 refrigerant, is 15 or more years old, or the compressor has failed, replacement usually wins on total cost of ownership. We show you both numbers side by side.
Are your technicians licensed and insured?
Yes. Licensed, insured, background-checked and EPA 608 certified for refrigerant handling, with permits pulled where required.
Do you replace air filters?
Absolutely, it is in our name. We stock 1, 2, 4 and 5 inch media filters and recommend the right MERV rating so you get clean air without starving the blower.

Can you service light commercial rooftop units?
